A stroke
can occur in different parts of the brain, and each type of stroke affects the
brain in a different way. Wessam Bou-Assaly is a radiologist who studied
neuroradiology as well as nuclear medicine. Both of these sub disciplines can
be used to study, diagnose, and treat the brain. Neuroradiology can be used to
identify the signs of a stroke. It is important to know about the different
types of strokes, and their causes.
Wessam Bou Assaly :- One type of stroke occurs in the right side of
the brain. This happens when there is some type of obstruction in this portion
of the brain and the blood flow is cut off. Several symptoms appear when a
stroke occurs in the right side of the brain. For example, the patient may
suffer from vision problems and paralysis in the left side of the body.
A second
type of stroke occurs in the left side of the brain. When the obstruction is in
this region, the patient’s behavioral style may change and he or she may become
more cautious. The patient may also experience memory loss and speech problems.
It is also likely that the patient will become paralyzed on the right side of
his or her body.
The third
type of stroke is the rarest. This type occurs in the brain stem. It could leave
the patient completely paralyzed. The patient may also not be able to speak. It
is important to be able to recognize the signs of a stroke and to be able to
determine what type of stroke occurred. Wessam Bou-Assaly is an experienced
radiologist in the neuroradiology subfield.
